NSW update
What a wonderful last month for 2024 at LCC. The committee supported LCC Christmas Carols in December. See our wonderful photos with all who attended and supported on the night. What a fun atmosphere singing together, making coffee, tea and serving cake! To finish the night we had a wonderful fireworks display.
The AMG was held early December and has the following people on the committee:

- Secretary: Robyn
- Committee members: John, Clorinda, Tony, Sam and Linda.
Our juniors and 23s, Melissa Danelutti and Aaron O’Callaghan, represented Australia and the LCC bocce club at the international world junior championships in Puerto Rico. They were successful in doing their best among the best in the world.
Congratulations also to Nina and Linda Chiandotto who have been nominated for club people of the year – junior and senior.
We also celebrated our club Christmas parties for senior and junior players. What a great day and night to celebrate and be thankful and grateful for the year with all our successes. See photos below from the celebration.
We are closed for most of January and will be back for junior training and club competitions late January early February.
We know 2025 will bring us lots more fun and laughter and especially a sense of community with our bocce family.

Vacancy for bocce coach (volunteer)
There is a vacancy to fill a voluntary role in Melbourne: Bocce Coach- Special Olympics Australia (Melbourne Eastern Ranges).

Once a year, Melbourne becomes the heart of bocce nostalgia and celebration as we host the Ghosts of Bocce Past – Legends Revival Competition. This unique event, proudly brought to you by the Bocce Federation of Victoria, unites past champions, present competitors, and future stars in a day filled with fun, friendship, and fierce but friendly competition.
We invite players from across Australia to be part of this extraordinary gathering. Whether you’re a seasoned bocce legend, a current competitor, or someone who has never played before but wants to give it a go, there’s a place for you on the court. Form a doubles team with an old rival, a new friend, or even a complete beginner—this competition is all about bringing people together.
But it’s more than just a tournament. It’s a day of great food, good company, and shared memories. Enjoy a delicious lunch, sip on your favourite drink, and immerse yourself in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the bocce community.
Join us in Melbourne for the second annual cup and celebrate the sport that connects generations. Will you answer the call of the legends?
