Bocce Australia is thrilled to announce the team that will represent our nation at the fourth Asia Oceania Bowls Championships, to be held in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia from December 8-12, 2024.

The team’s mission

The primary goal of the Australian Raffa Squad Team is to secure a top two finish at the Asia Oceania Championships. This achievement will qualify Australia to participate in the prestigious 2026 World Raffa Championships

Coaching the team

Franco Fava, a seasoned coach with a proven track record, will lead the Australian team. His recent success guiding the women’s team to victory in Turkey, coupled with the exceptional skills and experience of Joe and Silvio, instils confidence in the team’s ability to secure Australia’s qualification for the prestigious 2025 World Raffa Championships.

With a strong team and experienced coaching, Australia is poised to make a significant impact at the Asia Oceania Championships. The team’s dedication, combined with their passion for the sport, will undoubtedly drive them to achieve great results.
