Bocce Australia is taking player development to the next level! Our Sports Development Director, Sonia Fava, and Australian Head Coach, Stefano Chiandotto, have been working closely with the powerhouse of Bocce Volo—the French Federation—to create an unparalleled training experience for our athletes.
After many years of close collaboration with Federation Internationale de Boules (FIB) and the Fédération Française de Sport Boules (FFSB), we are thrilled to announce the launch of the Bocce Australia International Training Academy.
Set in the stunning coastal city of Nice, France, this academy will be an electrifying lead-up to the prestigious Denis Ravera International Challenge and other international championships. Our juniors will have an exclusive opportunity to refine their skills under the guidance of world-class coaches from the top bocce nation, France.
But that’s not all! Beyond the high-level coaching, our rising stars will test their talents in friendly international competitions, gaining invaluable experience against some of the best young players from around the globe.
Building on the success of last year’s International French Coaching Tour in Australia, this initiative reinforces our commitment to developing elite talent. We are planning to make this an annual opportunity — not only for our juniors but also for our senior players — ensuring that athletes at all levels can benefit from world-class coaching and international experience.
